well seeing how i want to be a hot shot Aviationist when i get older. i plan to add a couple of things to jets that not alot of people as to see as possible.

i thought to my self, "okay to make a Jet turn into a ground craft would it be better to have legs popping out, or a pair of Treads for traction. seeing if you blow off the legs it won't operate, but its more manurevable. but the treads might be heavier and the jet wouldn't be so slim, and not allowing it have maximum Aerodynamic flow." seeing how there are many problems within this, i thought more along the lines of Treads the treads would pop out like a regular wheel but the treads would have to be atleast 4 feet wide, so this would fit better as a flying APC and the body would be mostly composed of Carbon fiber. i am still new to this field of thought, but if i do my math right, it might work, of course the treads will have to made of solid steal thus weighing over 4 tons. the plane is thus too heavy to fly. but seeing how this might be 20 or so years from now technology might be different. the wings would have to be massive. and the it would have atleast 90 MM guns for self defense than AA guns for aerial defense. so it might just need atleast 8 50,000 thrust engines and put that togethar 8X50,000 = 400,000 pounds of thrust. so it can carry a hell of alot, but the plane would be massive, imagine the Fuselage being the size of Titanic, and the wingspan of 10 football fields.

Now what about he leg theory, would this work. by my calculations "no". its not possible i would need some super light, and super strong material to do this lighter than carbon fiber, stronger that reinforced steal. it seems so Anime but this is one of my main goals to get a walking jet to work. but i would be 90 years old before they get one to work, but this is a Superflous ambition. and a little farfetched. the legs would need some super piston or something to get it to operate.
